Hey-nice Vanster! I have a Police 3-wheeler that runs real nice(3 cyl/water-cooled) but I really want a Vanster. I found a mechanically-challenged Vanster & am wondering if the bodies could be swapped. This to me sounds easier than rebuilding the Vanster from top to bottom. Your thoughts? I can't say for certain if you could swap bodies but I suspect the frames are the same so Cushman could save on tooling costs. This is the first one I've owned and I haven't had it very long. What year model is your police modela and what year model is your Vanster? You could probably determine the compatibility by taking various measurements of each model.
